The Be Live Experience Orotava can be a great base for your family cycling holiday with a couple of bike shops within walking distance and a gym for a good work out. The hotel is situated in Puerto de la Cruz, 200 metres from the beach and Lago Martianez. It offers modern rooms with either sea or mountain views. I would personally go for the sea view as the mountain view might put you off riding up the whole 2376 metres to the top. Well, a loop around La Oratava and then towards La Guancha and back through the coastal TF-5 can have a over 1700 of elevation...
